Open Day 2021
Last year, we made the difficult decision to cancel our annual exhibition for the first time in 40 years due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the affect that social distancing would have had on us providing a high quality exhibition, whilst ensuring the safety of the public, our visiting layouts and our own club members.
For 2021 we felt that with continued uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus, we couldn't hold an exhibition again this year. However we have decided it was viable to hold a club open day at our new exhibition venue. There will be several club layouts on display, along with modelling demonstrations and trade support.
Date: Saturday 2nd October 2021
Location: Stevenson Centre, Great Cornard, Sudbury, CO10 0WD
Time: 10am to 4pm
Entrance by Donation
We look forward to seeing you all there!
The cancellation of our 2020 exhibition was particularly poignant as not only would this have been our 40th exhibition, it would have been our last exhibition in St. Peter's Church. Also our long serving exhibition manager Peter Worton has stepped down after what would have been the 31st exhibition that he has organised over the past 40 years. We thank Peter for the phenomenal amount of work he has put into running our exhibitions and know that he will continue to offer his guidance and support in the future to Alan Cox.
Next year's exhibition will now be our 40th exhibition and will be held on Saturday 1st October 2022 at our new venue, The Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard. More details will be released in early 2022, so please look for details here and on our Facebook page.
We appreciate your continuing support and wish all our members, visitors and traders good health during these unprecedented times.
